The short answer

Baegayul Moisture Balancing Mask, Beauty of Joseon Calming Barrier Mask and Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Sheet Mask are three Korean sheet masks whose current brand pages describe them as fragrance-free. They are not interchangeable formulas. Check the exact product name, ingredients and pack quantity before buying, especially when following an older recommendation.

This guide is published by Baegayul, one of the brands compared. It is a comparison of manufacturer information checked on September 6, 2026, not a head-to-head wear test or an independent ranking.

Compare the current versions

ProductPack or sheet size on the checked pageIngredient details worth checking
Baegayul Moisture Balancing Mask10 sheets; 27 mL per sheetGlycerin, betaine and sodium hyaluronate; also propolis extract and multiple botanical extracts. Not a minimal-ingredient formula.
Beauty of Joseon Calming Barrier Mask10 sheets; 18 mL per sheetCentella ingredients, hyaluronic acid ingredients and macadamia seed oil. This is the reformulated Calming Barrier Mask, not the older Centella Asiatica Calming Mask.
Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Sheet Mask30 mL per sheet; retail pack quantity not established on the checked brand pageRice bran water, shea butter, olive oil, squalane and ceramides appear on the renewed formula's ingredient list. Check that the retailer is selling this version.
More essence does not establish better performance. Listed ingredients do not establish how a finished formula will feel on your skin.

Buying a single mask or a box

Compare the quantity you will actually receive, not just the price next to the photo. A single pouch, a five-pack and a ten-pack can look similar in a search result.

At the checked prices, Baegayul lists its ten-sheet box at $15.99, or about $1.60 per sheet. Beauty of Joseon's US page lists ten sheets at a regular price of $25, or $2.50 per sheet. These are September 6 price snapshots before shipping and tax, not a promise of today's checkout price or a claim about the cheapest seller. We did not establish a comparable US pack price from the Klairs brand page.

For a first purchase, a smaller available pack may be a better choice than committing to a box you have never tried. Once you know a formula suits you, compare the delivered total divided by the number of sheets. Confirm the seller, pack count and current price at checkout.

Why older recommendations can lead to a different formula

Beauty of Joseon explicitly says its Calming Barrier Mask is a new formula and material update to Centella Asiatica Calming Mask. Klairs describes its current product as a renewed version of Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask. A review of the older name may describe a different product from the one in your cart.

Match the retailer's full name and ingredient list to the brand's current page. Packaging in your hand is the final check. If a seller does not make the version clear, ask before buying rather than assuming an old review applies.

Fragrance-free is a filter, not a guarantee

Fragrance-free does not mean free of botanicals, oils, propolis or every ingredient your skin might react to. The American Academy of Dermatology distinguishes fragrance-free from unscented and recommends testing new skincare before routine use. Its guidance also explains when a dermatologist can help identify a trigger. AAD product-testing guidance.

If you already know an ingredient causes a reaction, use that knowledge to narrow the full ingredient list. No mask here is presented as suitable for every sensitive skin type. Follow the directions on the specific pouch and stop using a product that irritates you.
