Created by Jo Seok-yong, a Korean medicine doctor and Ph.D., drawing on more than two decades of skin-focused clinical practice.
What Baegayul means
Push skin too hard, and it answers with redness and sting. Water it, soothe it, and give it room to settle.
Balance, kept simple. Skin that is watered, soothed, and left to its own steady rhythm.

Meet our founder
Jo Seok-yong founded Bluecellab in Seoul in 2017 with one principle: calm the skin before asking more of it.
Baegayul began with an herbal ointment he made for one bride-to-be. Word spread, and that patient-first idea became a short shelf of balance-first formulas.

Formulation philosophy
When the barrier has been worked too hard, more actives are not the answer. Start with hydration, then seal it in.
Stronger ingredients come later and slowly. We would rather you keep a short routine than chase another rescue.
How we formulate
The rules every formula passes before it earns a place.

Hydration and soothing herbal actives come first, so the barrier stays comfortable rather than overworked.

Cica, Job's Tears, and yuja connect each formula to Korean botanical knowledge, with every benefit stated precisely.

Every formula is made to sit gently on skin that reads harsher products, and to hold a place in a simple daily routine.
