That idea, written 백아율, is the whole reason the brand exists, and the standard every formula has to meet before it earns a place on the shelf.

A house, not a launch calendar
Baegayul is made by Bluecellab Co., Ltd. in Seoul, founded in 2017 by Dr. Jo Seok-yong, a doctor of Korean herbal medicine who spent twenty years treating reactive skin at his clinic in Gangnam, Seoul. That training shows up in the work: formulas are read as whole routines, not single heroes, and nothing ships until it sits gently on reactive skin.
We keep the lineup small on purpose. Fewer products means fewer chances to over-correct, and it leaves room for skin to do the repair work it is already trying to do.
The result is a short shelf of gentle, balance-first formulas, built around Korean herbal ingredients and meant to be kept, not chased.

Most skin problems people bring to us are not a missing active. They are a barrier that has been worked too hard. So every formula starts by supporting the wall: hydration on damp skin, a low-pH prep, lipids to seal.
Only once that base is calm do stronger ingredients earn a place, cushioned by hydration and introduced slowly. Actives are a reward the skin unlocks, never the starting point.
It is a slower way to work, and an honest one. We would rather you keep a short routine for years than chase a rescue you have to buy again next season.
